Overview:
In 2002 Tyler won the World of Outlaws GumoutSeries championship, winning a total of sixteen races during the season. During this time, he began celebrating his victories by doing a backflipoff of his racecar, a celebration soon copied by others, but to this day still give Tyler his most deserved credit for this high energy show. 2004 he began racing in the USAC Silver Crown Series for Kasey KahneRacing. But his love of sprint car would bring him home to California. In 2008, He began to race for SC Motorsports. In only their second season together, car owners Scott and Kathy Chastain and driver Tyler Walker have put together a winning combination. The team has been flawless in their ’09 campaign as they have turned in a record-setting Golden State Challenge Series season. Walker put an exclamation point on his 2009 Golden State Challenge Series season by not only winning the 30 lap feature at Placerville Speedway, but by also clinching his and SC Motorsports’ first GSC championship. With the Placerville victory, Walker’s win record for the season has totaled 9 victories, and now holds the single season win record that was previously held by Tim Kaeding. |




Team 

Tyler began his love of racing with bicycles at the age of six and then advanced to motorcycles at age eight. When the rush was not enough, he then began racing Go-Karts, and won four California state kartingchampionships and had a total of 200 wins. At the age of sixteen Walker started racing in the All Star Circuit of Champions series of sprint cars. He moved up to World of Outlaws competition and won several main feature events over the next two seasons including the GumoutSeries championship.
